Information
Private apartments may be difficult to find in Santa Barbara. We provide
limited assistance and referrals to apartment managers, advertisements,
and roommate services after you arrive in Santa Barbara. You should
plan to arrive early and spend at least one week in a motel or hotel
while you search for an apartment or private room rental. Most apartments
are unfurnished and some rentals are available in student neighborhoods
next to the university.
University Immersion Program students who have prepaid all Program
and International Student Service Fees are eligible to access the UCSB
Community Housing Web site for local apartment listings prior to arrival.
