Academic Support Course (ASC)
|
The Academic Support Course (ASC) is designed to help highly
proficient international students develop the sophisticated language
skills and study skills that are required to succeed in classes
with native speakers. The Academic Support Course is 10 weeks
long and awards four quarter units of post-graduate
credit.

Your Key to Academic Success
Even with an iBT TOEFL® score of 80 or higher, many international
students have difficulties succeeding in academic and/or professional
development courses. During their first quarter in the University
Immersion Program (UIP),
all international students are advised to take this
Academic Support Course.
