Enrollment Verification

Students automatically receive an official verification of enrollment card by mail after they have paid their fees. This verification card also serves as a receipt of tuition fees paid. On occasion, verification cards are lost in the mail. You may call (805) 893-4200 at any time to verify your enrollment status. Refunds are not granted solely because verification was not received.

Enrolling for No Credit

Students may opt to enroll in credit courses on a no-credit basis. In this case, they may participate selectively in classroom activities. Noncredit students pay full fees and receive verification that they attended the course, but do not earn a grade or receive units. "NC" or no credit is recorded for the course. All certificate students must enroll for credit.

Fees

UCSB Extension is supported entirely bystudent fees. The fee income received for each course must cover all direct and indirect expenses associated with that course.Individual fees may be subject to change orcorrection in the event of an error.

Payment Options:
For your convenience, UCSB Extension accepts payment by credit card, check, cash (exact change only), and company purchase order (see inside back cover). Students without a receipt for payment of a course or an enrollment verification card are prohibited from attending classes. If students do not have this proof of payment, they must present a valid credit card or personal check at the first class

Returned Check/Credit Card Chargeback

A $25 fee is assessed for all returned checks. If a check is returned due to insufficient funds, that student will lose the right to pay by check.
