Course Auditing & Space Limitations
Auditing/Visiting Classes
No guests or auditing of classes is allowed. Payment is due at
the time of enrollment. Access to a classroom is available 15
minutes before the class is scheduled to begin.

Course Maximums/Space Limitations
Many courses have enrollment maximums, usually because of limited space or
instructor request. Pre-enrolling will ensure space in a course that has
space limitations. Once a maximum is reached, overflow students are asked
if they would like to be placed on a waiting list. These students are automatically
notified if and when space becomes available. Students on a waiting
list are not to attend class without receiving notice from UCSB Extension's
Student Services Office that space has become available.
