UCSB Extension's Customized and On-Site Training is dedicated
to providing the finest professional development opportunities for business,
government, nonprofit, and other organizations throughout the larger
Central Coast region. Programs are designed to support strategic organizational
objectives as well as to meet specific skill development needs of the
work force. Programs can be delivered on-site or at locations best suited
to the organization's needs. Organizations may choose from the full
array of tested and proven university programs currently available or
have a custom designed program created to meet specific expectations
and objectives.

Pricing Structures
Pricing for Customized and On-Site Training is generally determined
by the choice of topic, the caliber of faculty desired, the length of
the course or program, the cost of course materials, and the number
of participants. Employers with 8-10 staff or more who need similar
training should consider the customized or on-site option as the cost/benefit
ratio is considerably more attractive than paying for the same number
of staff to attend a public course.
UCSB Extension is constantly investigating new ways to leverage
knowledge and information to fit your needs, as well as identifying cost
reduction methods that can make your organization run more efficiently.

Service Area

25% Corporate Group Discount
Companies may also send groups to reqularly scheduled UCSB Extension Courses.
Participants in the same course at the same time will receive a
25% discount off the standard enrollment fee. For instance, enroll
four or more employees in a class costing $300 and pay only
$225 per person. The more people you enroll, the more you save!
The discount must be requested at the time of enrollment and will not be
applied retroactively. Pre-payment is required. If the number of students
enrolled using the discount drops below four, standard fees will apply. Certain
courses, such as those that include computer lab activities, in-service courses,
or charges for textbooks and/or materials, are excluded from this policy.
