UCSB Ventura Center Closure

The University of California, Santa Barbara has decided to discontinue the Off Campus Studies (OCS) program that has been offered through UCSB Extended Learning Services for over 20 years. With OCS courses no longer being held at the UCSB Ventura Center, it will not be feasible to maintain the Center in the future.

The UCSB Ventura Center will remain open through 2010. UCSB Extension continues to have successful programs in Ventura County and we would like to maintain our presence in the area even after the closure of the Ventura Center. We are currently seeking alternate locations for our classes in the Ventura/Camarillo/Oxnard/Thousand Oaks region. UCSB Extension is actively working to maintain high-quality academic choices and serve student needs in Ventura County well into the future. Thank you for your continued support of UCSB Extension.
